What On-Site Support Covers

On-site visits are suitable for issues requiring direct access to equipment, including:

  • Hardware diagnosis and replacement including failed drives, overheating systems and RAM upgrades
  • New computer setup including unboxing, configuration, data migration and software installation
  • Network cabling and infrastructure such as ethernet runs, patch panels and cabinet tidy-ups
  • Router and WiFi configuration including broadband setup, mesh systems and access points
  • NAS and small business server installation
  • Printer deployment for network printers and shared setups across multiple devices
  • Office relocations covering dismantling, transport coordination and recommissioning
  • Display and monitor issues like multi-screen setups, cabling faults and resolution problems

What to Expect

Before work begins, you will receive a clear explanation of the issue and the expected cost. If the situation is more complex than first assessed, this will be discussed before proceeding.

Most visits are scheduled within 1–3 working days.

Pricing

On-site support is charged at £90 per hour for pay-as-you-go clients, with a minimum one-hour charge.

Travel within the standard service area is included.

GNL Protect members receive a reduced rate of £70 per hour for on-site visits.

Business plan members receive priority response, including same-day attendance where scheduling allows.
